![]() Well, of course there IS a reason, and we all know. Currently, there exists the possibility to activate Windows 11 on a Mac for free if the same Mac has had an activated. There’s absolutely no reason not to include that MacBook Pro (and other older Macs) in the last of Macs that support Windows 10 in Boot Camp. I do not know if either of these currently hold true. Also, in the past, Windows 10 would accept a Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 product key. My question is two-fold: (1) Does the fact that it doesn't appear in Device Manager mean that my MacBook is not taking advantage of the card at all? (2) If not, is there some kind of workaround to get Windows 10 to recognize it? I realize that your site is the "Unofficial, turbo-charged AMD graphics drivers for Mac users running BootCamp", but I'm just wondering if any of your members might have any ideas about this issue. In the past, Microsoft has allowed free upgrades from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 to Windows 10. Apparently, Intel does not offer Windows 10 driver support for this integrated card. The AMD Radeon HD 6490M driver appears but nothing for Intel. Trackpad++ is the worlds first alternate Windows driver for Apple Multi Touch and Force Touch trackpads of the Apple Macbook, Macbook Pro / Retina and Air notebooks. It seems to be working well however, I don't see any indication of the Intel HD 3000 Graphics driver in Device Manager. ![]() Windows works fine until I turn internet on, it download drivers automatically and. All seem to through back some message about not being for this laptop. It lets you boot the Mac into Windows mode (from macOS), and go back to macOS at any time with a simple restart (from Windows). I have tried creating a package via Mac OS, and also downloaded a few different versions I found on the net. My optical drive is dead so I installed Windows 8.1 in a partition via USB flash drive (EFI) after altering BootCamp Assistent. I can confirm I have been using Windows 10 on my 15' early 2011 macbook pro, I cant seem to get any kind of bootcamp to install. Unfortunately, the Macbook was not installed on Legacy BIOS, so I had to create a bootable flash drive (Windows 11) and I avoided UEFI obviously, using Rufus, free and open-source software. Same problems, no sound, no keyboard functionalities, nor trackpad etc. I had my logical board replaced by Apples Recall already. I came across a Macbook Pro early 2013 today, and it had Windows 11 (No dual boot). I am on a Macbook Pro 15' late 2011 with a 1tb SSD partitioned in two. I have installed the Windows 10 Technical Preview on my mid-2011 MacBook Pro 13-inch. Several weeks ago, using a Bootcamp workaround, I was able to install Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, on an early 2011 MacBook Pro. ![]()
